Tekno Autosports is the team that prepares and races Jonathon Webb's V8 Supercar. Tekno has become synonymous with Australian motorsport, first in Porsches and then V8 Supercars - in the Fujitsu Development Series, then stepping into the V8 Supercar Championship series in 2010 with Dick Johnson Racing. For 2011, Tekno Autosports have progressed further by building upon their strengths and challenging the more established names in pit lane. In 2012 Tekno expands to two cars - watch this space.
JONATHON WEBB
Jonathon Webb is a professional racing car driver competing in his third year in the V8 Supercar Championship. With the 2009 Fujitsu V8 Supercar Series (DVS) championship under his belt, Jonathon proved his pedigree in 2010 recording 9 top ten finishes and race a win at the Sydney Telstra 500. He also became the first V8 driver to complete every lap of every race throughout an entire season. His finish of 13th place in the 2010 Drivers Championship set a new benchmark for reigning DVS Champions.
TEKNO PERFORMANCE
Tekno Performance is the Performance and Enhancement division of Tekno Autosports. Specialising in upgrading late model Holden/ HSV and Ford/FPV vehicles, Tekno Performance has packages to suit any budget. Options such as Supercharging, Exhaust systems, Intake systems, Suspension and Brake upgrades are available. Headed by Jonathon with close ties to leading automotive suppliers like Herrod Motorsport and Harrop Engineering, Tekno Performance provides a unique experience within this exciting environment.
